People want something for nothing.  And if they have to work hard to get that something, they don't want it anymore.

They want something they can never have.  Yet, they don't want what is right in front of them.  It's never good enough.

They take the good for granted.  And always whine about the bad.  What's worse?  Always associating everything with the bad just so they have something to whine about.

They don't miss something until it is gone.  And people usually miss the wrong things.  They will miss the person who hurt them the worst, but can't spare a missed thought to someone who cares.

People view things improperly.  Things will never match.  Things will never be the way it is in a person's head.  Time will not hold up.  Lives will not stop.  The world will not end.  A single person is not important enough to think that everyone else gives a damn.  They don't.  Get on with life.

They think money will buy happiness.  Nope, just gonna be miserable and rich.  And no one likes to hear the rich whine.  Again, no one cares.

Fear.

People fear commitment.  So they will whore around instead, playing with emotions, and die just as pathetic as they lived.

People fear change.  Too scared to make that jump into the unknown.  Shut your eyes if you have to, but I prefer my eyes wide open.

People fear the future.  What's the world going to be like?  You're probably not going to live long enough to find out anyway.

People fear making the same past mistakes.  I made a choice, it turned out awful...do I make it again?  Depends on what it is, but 8 times out of 10 it really isn't that serious.

People fear themselves.  So they hold themselves back.  And those who never see their full potential?  All the should've, could've, would've in the world will never change how weakness held you back.  Be it love, a career, or a life changing event that just passed by.  Chase after it.  JUMP!
